As we get closer to elections it is important to raise awareness about our rights and responsibilities as voters. WDOM was proud to participate in a special program on May 9 at the Institutes for Applied Human Dynamics (IAHD) in Tarrytown. WDOM Executive Director Maria Samuels joined a panel of experts who answered questions about voting rights, important upcoming election deadlines and where to get assistance with registration. Other sponsors included the League of Women Voters of Westchester County; New York Caring Majority and the Self-Advocacy Association of New York State (SANYS).
