As we celebrate our anniversary and look back on 40 years there were many milestones along the way. Here’s one you may remember. In 1990 before the passage of the ADA, former Westchester County Office for the Disabled Director Richard Manley is pictured here with Ken Hill from WDOM and Beverley Levine, Director of Yonkers Office of the Handicapped, at a press conference advocating for improved access and pricing at the gas pumps for people with disabilities. A true champion for the rights of people with disabilities, Richard was always on the front lines. We remember him fondly for all his good work.
