WDOMI has New York State of Health certified Navigators who can assist New York residents in qualifying for and enrolling them in an affordable health plan.
Residents of NY State –
Ages 0 to 64 can get full coverage from $0 monthly premium to obtaining financial assistance to reduce the premium on a qualified health plan.
Costs are so much lower with the NY State of Health because of the large number of people who buy insurance in the Marketplace. For people with a low enough income, costs will be reduced even more because they get help in paying for their insurance. Getting eligibility for coverage is based on household income, family size, and immigration status. The initial application process usually takes about 20 minutes and instant approval for coverage. However, some eligibility may take a little longer depending on the circumstances.
Consumers can shop
for and enroll in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, the Essential Plan, and Qualified Health Plans.
