Shanae Williams is the Westchester County Legislator representing District 16 and a longtime public servant with over 12 years of experience. She previously served on the Yonkers City Council, where she championed initiatives to improve housing, community development, and quality of life for residents. A strong advocate for affordable housing and homelessness prevention, Williams has worked to expand access to safe and stable housing for vulnerable communities. She is a former board member of the Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Yonkers and remains actively engaged in community organizations across Westchester. Born in Jamaica and raised in Yonkers, she remains actively involved in numerous civic and professional organizations and is committed to empowering residents through resources, advocacy, and education.
